The shares price index closed at (3301.64) point, an increase of (0.86%) The shares of (104) companies were traded, the shares prices of (41) companies rose, and the shares prices of (26) declined.

At the sector level, the Financial index increased by 1.14%, the Industrial index increased by 0.43%, and the Services index increased by 0.25%.

As for sub sector indices, the Electrical Industries, Technology and Communication, Hotels and Tourism, Banks, Diversified Financial Services, Textiles, Leathers and Clothings, Pharmaceutical and Medical Industries, Mining and Extraction Industries, Chemical Industries, Food and Beverages, Utilities and Energy sectors increased by 4.00%, 1.59%, 1.32%, 1.27%, 1.19%, 1.12%, 0.63%, 0.32%, 0.31%, 0.29%, 0.19% respectively.

While the Commercial Services, Transportation, Real Estate, Insurance, Engineering and Construction sectors decreased by 1.20%, 0.76%, 0.37%, 0.33%, 0.01% respectively.

The top five gainers were, the Jordan Commercial Bank by (6.56%), Arab Jordan Investment Bank by (5.52%), Tuhama For Financial Investments by (4.88%), Jordan Dairy by (4.86%), and Amad Investment & Real Estate Development by (4.82%).

The top five losers were, Salam Internationl Transport & Trading by (7.00%), The Real Estate & Investment Portfolio Co.
