The shares price index closed at (2694.13) point, an increase of (1.13%) The shares of (87) companies were traded, the shares prices of (42) companies rose, and the shares prices of (20) declined.

At the sector level, the Financial index increased by 1.30%, the Industrial index increased by 0.91%, and the Services index increased by 0.60%.

As for sub sector indices, the Health Care Services, Banks, Mining and Extraction Industries, Electrical Industries, Transportation, Utilities and Energy, Pharmaceutical and Medical Industries, Diversified Financial Services, Real Estate, Technology and Communication, Hotels and Tourism, Chemical Industries sectors increased by 4.06%, 1.44%, 1.12%, 1.11%, 1.03%, 0.93%, 0.67%, 0.61%, 0.37%, 0.34%, 0.24%, 0.11% respectively.

While the Commercial Services, Engineering and Construction, Insurance, Educational Services, Food and Beverages sectors decreased by 1.39%, 0.52%, 0.51%, 0.09%, 0.03% respectively.

The top five gainers were, the Rumm Financial Brokerage by (5.26%), Amoun International For Investments by (4.76%), The Consultant & Investment Group by (4.65%), Jordan Commercial Bank by (4.08%), and Arab Bank by (3.85%).

The top five losers were, Arab Jordanian Insurance Group by (4.94%), Specialized Jordanian Investment by (4.76%), Arab Company For Investment Projects by (4.63%), Arabia Insurance Company - Jordan by (4.63%), and Jordan French Insurance by (4.48%).
